Patrick Donaldson and Colin Dunstall formed
Donaldson Dunstall in 1998. Since then we have expanded to
become a four fee earner firm specialising in many
different areas of the Law.
We aim to provide an efficient personal service
of the very highest standard at competitive rates. We add value
by ensuring that our advice is right commercially as well as
legally.
Donaldson Dunstall has an enviable client base,
acting for well known companies and individuals both locally and
further afield. Client loyalty is second to none and we pride
ourselves on our client relationships. The result of these close
relationships is that we are able to base our advice on in depth
and personal knowledge of our clients’ affairs. This in turn,
coupled with our pro-active approach, ensures our clients can
have our help in developing appropriate strategies for any given
situation rather than asking for help with “Fire Fighting”.
Having taken a conscious decision not to take on
legally aided work, we at Donaldson Dunstall have instead
concentrated on building our private client base in our chosen
areas of speciality. Our reputation has thus grown to the point
where we can say that our burgeoning workload is entirely due to
personal recommendations from our professional colleagues and
existing clients to their friends, families and colleagues.
Donaldson Dunstall ensures its high standards of
service are maintained by continuous training of fee earners and
staff. Important changes in legislation and the practice of law
are tracked and assimilated. We recognise the value of using
technology to assist us in maintaining our service levels and we
maintain that edge by employing in-house an acknowledged expert
in the field of IT.
